Maybe you have never heard of Harvey Balls? Wikipedia notes that

 

Harvey Poppel is generally credited with inventing Harvey Balls in the 1970s while working at Booz Allen Hamilton as a consultant.[2][3] This is why Harvey Balls are also sometimes referred to as Booz Balls. (!)

This free template will help you quickly present a visual story on the status of multiple items in a list.

As you can see in the free, downloadable template below, you have a table for making your list of items, a notes area for more detail and status column to place the Harvey Ball. Each of the different circles is defined in the legend at the bottom of the slide.
