American Express wanted to build a promotional campaign that highlighted their dedication to community diversity. After consulting with Cubicle Ninjas, they decided to build the campaign on the theme of “Acceptance” — symbolizing both the fact that American Express is accepted at many local merchants as well as the larger idea of tolerance and coexistence.
Cubicle Ninjas got right to work, designing a decal and register signage design for merchants who accept American Express, emphasizing the symbolic idea of acceptance in the process. The Cubicle Ninjas team focused on total inclusivity, representing people of all genders, ethnicities, genders, and orientations. The finished label celebrates diversity and pride through fun, stylized, and vibrant illustration. The finished logo celebrates diversity and pride through fun, stylized, and vibrant illustration.
The Acceptance campaign was a huge success — building brand awareness for American Express and promoting compassion and diversity in the community.
