Argonne National Laboratory is a world-renowned science and engineering research center. They wanted to tell the story of how all the departments in their Physical Sciences and Engineering department bring their different fields of expertise together to create revolutionary products from research all the way to manufacturing through the magic of 360 video.

Cubicle Ninjas worked with Argonne to come up with a compelling storyline to show this process in action. We decided to follow the story of a next generation battery, and how it weaves through every department as it goes from research and prototyping to testing and refining all the way through manufacturing and integration in consumer projects. Our team began with script writing and storyboarding, moved into UI/UX design and 3D graphic generation, and finished with video shooting and editing to produce a dynamic, informational, and fascinating tours the real-world benefits of Argonne’s research.
